Kaare joined Boyden as co-founder and Managing Partner of the Oslo office in 1990, after some years experience from another leading executive search company.

He holds a Master of Science from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration in Bergen, Norway.

After graduation Kaare was appointed Financial Manager of the Aker Group`s Supply and M&M operations in Stavanger.

In his 12 years with Aker in Oslo his experience includes roles as Corporate Controller, Financial Manager and the last period as CFO, including taking part in the overall restructuring of the Group.

Kaare`s market exposure includes Oil & Gas, Oil-Services, Renewable Energy, Construction, Finance, Real Estate, Shipping, Professional Services and Medical Equipment. Engagements includes; CEO and C-level positions, Non-Executives for Boards, Functional Managers (Divisions and Regions) and high caliber Specialists and Advisors.

In addition Kaare has been leading Management Assessment projects, some with cross border Boyden teams, including industry sectors as Oil-Services, Insurance and Finance.

Since entering the executive search market, Kaare has identified, negotiated and project led to completion in exess of 300 retained search projects.
